We are pleased to announce that the Pediatric Medicine (PM) has attained its first impact factor for the 2024 citation year: 0.9 (Figure 1).

Pediatric Medicine (PM, Pediatr Med, ISSN 2617-5428) launched in May 2018 by the Children's Hospital of Fudan University (Shanghai, China) and AME Publishing Company, is an open access, peer-reviewed electronic journal with the aims to serve as an international platform for academic discussion and exchange among practitioners to make new discoveries on this important issue. The mission of PM is to bring pediatricians, at the intersection of clinical practice and translational research, the best researches that provide information in understandable and clinically useful formats, which will ultimately improve health care delivery and promote children health.
We strive to follow the best practices in publishing. The announcement of the journal’s first impact factor is not only a significant achievement for the journal but also the recognition of its more significant scientific reach. Here, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our Editorial Team Members, Guest Editors, authors, and reviewers for their significant contributions.
